75% of the Arboretum’s funding comes from members, donors, and business partners, and 25% from the state of North Carolina. Community Partners help power youth and adult education programs, engaging exhibits, signature events, 65 acres of beautiful and inspiring gardens, and 10+ miles of hiking, walking and biking trails.
From tourists near and far to locals here in Western North Carolina; plant and gardening enthusiasts to hikers, cyclists and dog walkers ready to explore the forest trails; students, families, and vibrant retirees; and planners seeking a stunning wedding or event location, the Arboretum builds long-lasting, trusted and inspired relationships.
